Subscription and Refund Terms

These Subscription and Refund Terms (these "Subscription Terms") describe the plans, billing, cancellation, and refund practices for The Consigliere, a paid subscription content product published by Fellowship Intelligence LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), the interim operator of The Consigliere before launch, available at theaiconsigliere.com. On formation of Consigliere LLC, that entity will succeed to these Subscription Terms and they will be updated. These Subscription Terms are part of, and are incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. If there is any conflict between the Terms of Service and these Subscription Terms on billing matters, these Subscription Terms control.
1. Plans and Pricing
The Consigliere is a reader for a library of AI governance counsel — a decision-support product. You subscribe on theaiconsigliere.com and sign in to read the library included in your plan through the website and the companion reader app. Current plans, prices, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout on theaiconsigliere.com. Prices are stated in US Dollars and may exclude taxes, which will be added where applicable. We may offer different plans or promotional pricing from time to time, and specific plan features may vary.
2. Billing Cadence and Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis for each billing period, on the schedule shown at checkout (monthly or annual). Payment is handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the applicable fees at the start of each billing period, subject to the free trial described below where applicable.
Monthly individual and industry plans include a one-month free trial: no charge is made until the trial ends, and you may cancel any time during the trial at no cost. Annual individual and industry plans, and all team and regulated plans, do not include a free trial and are charged in full at checkout; see the refund policy below for the window that applies instead.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (or, for monthly plans, at the end of the free trial) at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We do not store full payment card numbers; your payment details are handled by the payment processor.
3. Price Changes and Notice
We may change subscription prices or plan features from time to time. If we change the price that applies to your subscription, we will provide advance notice of at least 30 days before the change takes effect, such as by email to the address associated with your account or by posting notice on the Website, in accordance with applicable law. Price changes will apply to your next billing period after the notice period. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect, as described below. Your continued subscription after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@theaiconsigliere.com. When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and it will not renew for the following period. You will continue to have access to the Service through the end of the period you have already paid for, unless we are required to end access sooner. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, except as described in the refund policy below or as required by applicable law.
5. Refund Policy
Except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated here, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused portions of a subscription, or documents already delivered.
Our policy differs by billing cycle:
Monthly individual and industry plans include the one-month free trial described in Section 2 instead of a refund window. Because no charge is made until the trial ends, canceling during the trial avoids any charge; once the trial ends and the first payment is made, that payment is treated as a regular subscription charge and is non-refundable except as described below.
Annual individual and industry plans, and all team and regulated plans, are charged in full at checkout with no trial. If you are a new subscriber on one of these plans, you may request a refund of that initial charge within 14 days of the charge by contacting us at support@theaiconsigliere.com. Refunds, where granted, are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your provider.
We may decline refund requests that we reasonably believe are abusive or that fall outside this policy. Where applicable law grants you a statutory right to cancel or to a refund (for example, a consumer cooling-off right), that right applies regardless of this policy.
6. Free Tier
We offer a free tier. The free tier provides access to Consigliere Core and the foundational instruments, at no charge and with no card required. Use of the free tier is subject to the Terms of Service, including the acceptable use and distribution restrictions. No charges apply unless you choose to upgrade to a paid subscription. We may modify, limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@theaiconsigliere.com so we can review and resolve it promptly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the Service. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that we reasonably believe are unwarranted and to recover amounts owed, including any related fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes associated with your subscription, except for taxes based on our net income. Where we are required to collect such taxes, they will be shown at checkout and added to your charges, where applicable.
